Twelve states in the U.S have 70% Adult Population Partially Vaccinated

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention board revealed through data published on its website that about 70% of  twelve U.S. states adult residents are vaccinated. The U.S states California and Maryland crossed the milestone. These were joined by the states including Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and New Hampshire, among others.

President of the U.S. Joe Biden has set this goal of getting the vaccination done for at least 70% of adults between 18 and 44 in U.S. states by July 4.On Wednesday, Joe Biden will give detailed information of the state of the campaign. The month of June will be declared as the national month of action by him with regard to the goal of getting more people vaccinated.

For a second straight day, the average infection of Covid-19 across the U.S remained below 20,000. However, many states failed to publish the data regarding the infection count and more on the Memorial Day holiday.Also, many are still to catch the ground reports of the infection count.

According to the data published by the CDC, about 51% of Americans have taken at least one shot of the vaccine, and around 41% of the U.S residents are fully vaccinated. The percentile of people getting vaccinated between 18 and older is roughly 63%. According to the latest report, the U.S is getting 1.2 million of vaccinations done per day. The data of the remaining states will be filled in the coming days, as stated by Cyrus Shahpar, the Covid-19 data director of White House.
