McDonald’s Hiring 9000+ Employees in Pennsylvania

McDonald’s is complaining about the staffing at this time for summer. The fast-food chain is appointing around 9,000 new employees across the state of Pennsylvania as it plans to reopen and welcome customers back to their dining rooms.Interested applicants are being asked to head to McDonald’s.com/careers to learn more about applications and applying to a restaurant outlet near them.

According to a recent company press release, they can also text ‘apply’ to 36453 to place an application through text. Also, a few local restaurants will be holding virtual hiring events for new employees. However, McDonald’s is not alone in with its hiring plans. All the businesses across the United States are struggling to find a sufficient workforce as the national labor shortage continues. The shortages obstruct the restaurants and retailers just like it was when Covid-19 restrictions are lifting.

The restaurants have incorporated all the safety protocols to protect the workers and the customers as well. They consist of well-being and temperature checks, social distancing floor stickers, protective blocks at order points and masks and gloves for employees, sanitizers made available at the doorsteps of the restaurant with the addition of the new procedures and training.

Marcia Graham, a local McDonald’s owner and the operator, told that they are a people business at their central and core, and as they welcome the customers back into their dining areas, the safety of the employees and customers become their top importance and priority, just the same way it has been throughout the history of 66 years of McDonald’s.
